Light A Candle

WELCOME, - 7th January 2008, You are about to make an entry into a Public Book of Remembrance where you are able to leave a message and light a candle for your loved ones. However, if you have recently lost a loved one - or wish to leave a message for family, friends or neighbours who have recently lost a loved one - you may prefer to make your entry in their own Private Book Of Remembrance.

To check whether a Private Book of Remembrance has been opened you can either click on the Books of Remembrance link in the left hand panel above and browse the listing of activated Books or use our Search Website facility. Entering the surname only will enhance your search results. When a Book is returned its status is indicated by a small book icon - a red cross indicates that you are unable to make any entries until the Book Owner, usually the family member responsible for the funeral arrangements, has activated the Book.

PLEASE CHECK CAREFULLY THAT THE ENTRY YOU MAKE IS IN THE APPROPRIATE BOOK OF REMEMBRANCE.

For a dear mum who tragically lost her battle with leukiemia on 9th Jan 2010. Mum, words cannot express how much I miss you. I am finding it hard to deal with fact that im not going to hear your voice again or have a hug from you but i know that you will give me the strength to get through. We may have had our ups and downs but you ment the world to me and always will do. Your the best mum that I could have ever asked for. You'l remain in my heart forever. Your baby Lynsey xxxx
